Ek het nooit gedink aan wat met my gebeur het nie: 'n persoon uit 'n voormalige kommunistiese land, waar daar geen vryheid van uitdrukking was nie, slegs sensuur en taboes, verduidelik dat sy nie 'n rassis of klassis is nie, just because some way of expression touched some unknown mysterious taboos. I don’t want to return to that world! People didn’t die 30 years ago for more taboos! I want to be free, to express my thoughts! I was born in a very poor society, with no class, no other populations than Caucasians, and no freedom! And now I have to explain I am not a racist and a classist, just because I can detect human the contempt for other people marketed as anti-racism or classism.
